What Should Christians Pursue?

pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
1Ti 6:11

Paul gives us clear direction on what we should be seeking in life:

1. Righteousness: doing what God asks us of.
2. Godliness: being like God in His goodness, generosity, love, truth and etc.
3. Faith: believing that God will do what He has promised.
4. Love
5. Perseverance: continuing to do these things even when the going gets tough.
6. Gentleness: kindness, meekness

Lord, help me to pursue these good things instead of pursuing wealth, power, gain or fame. Help me to seek Your approval and not worry about the approval of other people. I choose to seek You.
